How can i perform unix/linux shell commands on windows for my exam?

i dont want to install linux on my system so is there any software through which i can perform shell commands of unix/linux for my exams(basic commands nothing complex)...if not then please tell which linux os has vi-editor fedora or ubuntu (which is better)
